Matchmaker Mary is a G rated family film by PureFlix Entertainment. The film follows the protagonist Mary (Katherine McNamara) who receives a puppy for getting an A on her sixth grade final exam. Since the puppy brings Mary so much joy, she decides to use him to help her adult friends that could use some cheering up. She decides to use puppies as a tool to bring joy to her friends while also trying to create a love connection. Her accomplices in this scheme are her Aunt Karen (Dee Wallace) and Cameron Banks (Jeff Fahey), and they refer to themselves as matchmaking angels. Unfortunately, Mary's parents can't seem to get along and their relationship is threatened. Mary's matchmaking attempts begin to work, and that leads to her ultimate goal to bring her parents back together again. Mary comes up with a plan entitled "Operation Domestic Tranquility." Matchmaker Mary was released in 2009 and directed by Tom Whitus.
