Mating Habits of the Earthbound Human is a quirky mockumentary comedy directed by Jeff Abugov that follows the narration of an alien (David Hyde Pierce) as he studies the courting and romantic styling of the late-20th century humans. It is a boy meets girl story, except its a story given the same attention most humans would give to our own nature documentaries on the habits of a woodchuck. The narrator is interested and slightly baffled with each of the bells, whistles, and jumps any young human goes through in their goal in attracting a date. Viewers can chuckle at the narrators definite mistakes in his assumptions while sympathizing with each step of the dating process as the Male, otherwise known as Billy (Mackenzie Astin), awkwardly gets the Females, also known as Jenny (Carmen Electra), number in a noisy club to his subsequent panic during the first date and first kiss. Watch and enjoy Billy and Jennys relationship develop with the help of their own confusing friends (Markus Redmond, Lucy Liu, and Lisa Rotondi) and the commentary of the narrator.moreless
