Meatballs Part II is a comedy film directed by Ken Widerhorn that follows the campers at Camp Sasquash, whose owner Giddy (Richard Mulligan) has been trying to find a way to stop Colonel Bat Jack Hershey (Hamilton Camp) from expanding his militaristic Camp Patton. Though his first trick of having Sasquash overrun with the pacifist Hari Krishnas worked a little too well, Hershey and Giddy come to an agreement that the ownership will remain with the winner of an end-of-summer boxing match between Flash (John Mengatti) and a raw meat-fed Patton camper. A bit of a delinquent, Flash trains and chases the intellectual Cheryl (Kim Richards) while ignoring what his young charges, including a cocky Tommy (David Hollander), twins Barry and Larry (Scott and Paul Stout), the nerdy Butterball (Scott Nemes), the candy-selling Steve (Jason Hervey), and the very immature Ted (Chad Sheets), are getting into. Apparently, his cabin’s hiding an alien sent to earn his Earth merit badge called Meathead. Meatballs Part II is a film filled with practical jokes and oddball pranks.moreless
