Mee-Shee the Water Giant is the kind of story of which legends are made, directed by John Henderson, son of Jim Henderson and heir of the muppet enterprise. In this film, Sean Cambell (Bruce Greenwood) is just about to pull out of the driveway to take his nine year old son, Mac (Daniel Magder), on a long-awaited trip to Disney World. However, he's a troubleshooter for an oil company, and at the last minute he's called up to a Canadian lake to recover some machinery lost in a helicopter crash. Feeling a sense of guilt for failing to deliver on the promise to his son, Sean takes Mac along. Mac is disappointed about the rerouted trip, but little does he know that hidden within that lake is a friendly creature the likes of which humanity has never seen. Mac is about to make a dinosaur sized new friend, but only if he can protect it from some hunters who see a profit to be made.moreless
