Messengers 2: The Scarecrow is a 2009 horror movie sequel directed by Martin Barnewitz and produced by Ghost House Pictures. The film follows the family man and farmer John Rollins (played by Norman Reedus) who is going through a stressful financial situation. Lack of irrigation and swarming crows are destroying his corn crop. On top of this John's bank is ready to close on his mortgage, he doesn't have enough credit to fix his water pipe to buy seeds, and his marriage is in trouble as his wife Mary (played by Heather Stephens) is spending too much time with her friend Tommy (played by Atanas Srebrev). Amidst all this John finds a creepy scarecrow in a hidden compartment in his barn. Once the scarecrow is put in his cornfield the crows die, the pump works, and the banker closing on John dies. However does this seemingly supernatural scarecrow truly have John's best interests in mind?
