Mexican Blow

Movie Summary

Director:
Will Harper
Released:
2002
Rating:
R
Mexican Blow (Warrior) can be interpreted as a comedic, low-budget version of a famous movie called Blow by Johnny Depp. In this alternative 2002 film, two drug cartels fight viciously over land and business in Mexico. But when the bloodshed heads south, towards the jungles of South America, a greater force is awakened. Both parties meet an omnipresent spirit - a supernatural force named Dreadmon (Vincent Klyn) who intends on maintaing the peace and driving out anything that disturbs him. What ensues is a fast-paced cat and mouse game where each man fights for himself. The film includes performances by Matt Gallini, Jamie Luner, Yukmouth - the rapper, Blair Valk, and Ronald G. Joseph. Amateur filmmaker Will Harper went through great lengths to produce this film. At one point he even shred his Achilles tendon performing a stunt for one of the scenes. Be sure to watch Mexican Blow if you enjoy bizarre movies with eclectic actors!
