Michael Jackson: The Interviews: Vol. 1 is the first in a series of interviews with Michael Jackson (1958-2009) over the course of his decades long reign as the King Of Pop. This series gives a peek into the life and career of a legend. Volume 1 begins with footage from a 1971 interview with a 12 year-old Michael and his 20 year-old brother Jackie by KNBC anchor Robert Abernathy. Also featured is the now famous Neverland Ranch interview by Oprah Winfrey in 1993, a rare look at the personal surroundings of the often very private Michael. The soft-spoken Jackson speaks about the importance of loving yourself and having confidence everyday in an interview with Australian television personality Molly Medrum in 1996 - one day after his nuptials with long time friend Debbie Rowe. Michael Jackson is undeniably one of the most iconic figures in pop culture of the 20th century. This compilation of sometimes sweet, often silly, but always heartfelt interviews is a must see for all Michael Jackson fans.moreless
