Middle Course, a 1961 movie set in World War II, is an exciting and action-packed adventure directed by Montgomery Tully. The movie revolves around Cliff Wilton, (Vincent Ball), who is a Canadian war pilot. Cliff's war plane crashes and he ends up in the hands of the Nazis. Luckily, the local French villagers are friendly and they rescue Cliff and take him under their wing. The Germans occupy the French village and Cliff quickly becomes a friend and asset to the village and its people as he works to make life as difficult as possible for the Germans. The local villagers are grateful for Cliff's undertaking and rally around him to help with his plan of frustrating the Germans. In response, the Germans become increasingly angry and vow to stop the villagers by eliminating the brains of the operation, Cliff. Throughout the movie, the characters are believable and the plot flows smoothly.
