Millions Like Us is the heartwarming story of a young British woman, Celia Crowson (Patricia Roc), during World War II. Against the wishes of her family, Celia enlists for service and hopes her job will be glamorous. Instead of something interesting and exciting, Celia is sent to work in a factory with hundreds of other young women who assemble air plane parts. At the factory, she meets many interesting women and eventually starts up a romance with an airman, Fred Blake (Gordon Jackson). With the ups and downs of war waging in the backdrop, the two fall in love and decide to get married. This film is a realistic depiction in its portrayal of what life was like for thousands of young women during World War II. This movie was made in Europe during the war, and features a fine cast. This 1943 film was directed by Sidney Galliat and Frank Launder
