Mindwarp is a science fiction film about a woman who finds herself banished to the toxic outer reaches of the city. In a gritty, post apocalyptic world, the Earth's inhabitants all live within a sealed off biosphere, where they are all plugged in to a massive virtual reality mechanism called Infinisynth, where your ultimate fantasies can come true. But for Judy Apple (Marta Martin), her computer enhanced life can not compete with her undying desire to experience a true reality. But when her plans of hijacking her mother's (Mary Becker) dream end in her mom's death, the young rebellious girl is exiled to the brutal wasteland outside the confines of the enclosed city. There, with the help of a rogue warrior Stover (Bruce Campbell), she fights for her life against a barrage of attacks from mutated cannibals, but is ultimately captured by the Seer (Angus Scrimm), the unofficial leader of the war torn land. Desperate and determined to break free once again, Judy's world is shattered when she finds that the Seer is actually her long lost father, and that the desolate landscape could very well be her new home. Steve Barnett directs this creative and gripping adventure through a shattered and nightmarish universe.moreless
