Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous is a 2005 American comedy film by director John Pasquin starring Sandra Bullock and Regina King in a larger-than-life sequel to the hit 2000 film, Miss Congeniality. Made-over FBI agent Gracie Hart (Sandra Bullock) is back after her stint in the pageant world and ready to take down crime and prove that girls can be tough, too. There's only one problem: after her very public beauty pageant infiltration, she's become a bit too much of a celebrity to be of much use as an undercover agent for covert operations. The FBI wants to use her, instead, as the new 'face"of the FBI. Hurt after being dumped by her boyfriend, fellow agent Eric Matthews, Gracie agrees to the reassignment. But when, just ten months later, she finds herself bored with a life of morning television interviews and book promotion, Gracie jumps right back into her old work'even without her employer's approval. Her best friend, the newly-crowned Miss United States (Heather Burns), and aging pageant coach Stan Fields (William Shatner) have been kidnapped and she's going to turn Las Vegas upside down, with the aid of bodyguard Sam Fuller (Regina King), to recoer them. Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous is packed with adventure, sass, and rockin' costumes.moreless
