PG-13
Miss Congeniality is a humorous crime story thrown in with a touch of love that is based around an FBI agent, Gracie Hart (Sandra Bullock). The FBI discovered a terrorist plot that threatens the Miss America Pageant. This situation forces Gracie to be transformed into a pageant contestant in order to have someone on the inside to investigate this threat. The hardcore agent needs all the help that she can get in order to fit into this scene because she is the furthest person from the pageant girl type. Her partner, Eric Matthews (Benjamin Bratt), is there to help her out and hires Victor Melling (Michael Caine) as her pageant coach. Melling has his hands full with this gum-chomping, gun-toting, tomboy of a woman. Can Gracie foil the terrorists' plot or will she get sucked into the pageant and forget her original mission? This humorous film is also a love story when Matthews realizes that Hart is more than just one of the guys.moreless
