Missing In Action is a 1984 action film starring Chuck Norris. Colonel James Braddock (Norris) spent 10 years in a North Vietnamese POW camp until he escaped. Braddock eventually returns to Ho Chi Minh City with a group of soldiers to search for other prisoners of war still being held. Evidence leads Braddock to Thailand where he meets up with his former Army pal and current black market runner named Tuck (M. Emmet Walsh). He gives Braddock information that General Trau (James Hong) is still holding Americans hostage in POW camps. The two set off on a mission to free the soldiers from unjust imprisonment. In addition to the danger of the mission itself, Braddock is also being pursued by a man who tortured him in the POW camp. The film also features Jean Claude Van Damme, Lenore Kasdorf, and Erich Anderson and was based on a treatment written by James Cameron.
