Moment of Indiscretion is the 1958 crime drama in which the demure Janet Miller (Lana Morris) is accused of a horrible crime, although she denies all culpability. The police come to her in the process of the investigation with clear evidence and motive that incriminate her. She is defensive and withdrawn, failing to offer clear answers to the Inspector Marsh's (Denis Shaw) questions. She is caught in an awkward situation as she tries to shield information about a recent encounter with a former boyfriend, both to protect herself and to maintain an apparent lie to her husband, John Miller (Ronald Howard). In a moment of loyalty, John claims to vouch for her alibi, promising that she couldn't have been responsible for that for which she is accused. His defense seems only skin-deep, as he very quickly begins his own investigation. However, he might rightly be on the trail of someone else.
