Movie Summary

Director:
Allen Funt
Released:
1972
Rating:
PG
Money Talks is a 1972 production showing crazy things that people will do for money. Before the popular production "Punk'd", "Candid Camera" was the mirthful television show created by Allen Funt. Money Talks is his second movie to grow out of that popular television series. In this feature, the focus is all about money. The film answers several questions about money such as: why people want money, where we keep it, and what happens if we lose it. There are several gags and tricks throughout the movie including Muhammad Ali not paying for a C.O.D. delivery, a pretty girl dropping money to see if anyone will return it, gluing bills to the sidewalk, and even putting bills on the end of a string. The film also shows a man tap dancing for his groceries, as well as including lengthy interviews with people talking about their money. This comical production entertains for hours and hours.
