Monsturd is a campy and delightfully disgusting independent horror film directed by Rick Popko and Dan West. The film opens as elusive and notorious murderer Jack Schmidt (Brad Dosland) is trying to avoid capture. He's fast on his feet, but not fast enough to dodge a bullet from the police. Wounded and disoriented, Schmidt falls into a nearby sewer. This isn't just any sewer, however; Schmidt finds himself treading water in a roiling hell-broth of human excrement and toxic waste that has been secretly piped into the sewer by an unscrupulous chemical manufacturer. This deadly mixture enters Schmidt's body through his bullet wound and quickly transforms him into an amphibious horror that's part human, part feces and one hundred percent evil. Living in the sewer tunnels and entering homes through the plumbing, Schmidt makes the townspeople quake with fear as he embarks on a manic killing spree unequalled by any other in the area's history. Monsturd is unquestionably one of the grossest films ever made, and will delight fans of over-the-top gore!moreless
