Life of Brian is the hilarious 1979 satire from the legendary British comedy group Monty Python, and is now available on Amazon. Critically acclaimed director and animator Terry Gilliiam directs this instant classic. Set in Jerusalem in the time of Jesus Christ, the film is about the life of a man named Brian (Graham Chapman) who was born in the stable next to Jesus, at the same time. Growing up, Brian always heard of Jesus and his message, but tried to go on living his average unfulfilled life as a roman occupied citizen of Judea. His life gets flip turned upside down when he is mistaken for a messiah, and attains his own batch of unwelcome followers (that comically split up into micro-groups based on semantics of what Brian blurts out). His new-found fame and purpose finds Brian in a half-brained scheme to overthrow the Roman rule of Judea. This film is guaranteed to offend while splitting your sides with laughter.
