2004
Rating:
PG-13

Mr. And Mrs. Smith brings two modern-day icons of the silver screen together in this offbeat action film. John (Brad Pitt) and Jane Smith (Angelina Jolie) have been experiencing problems with their relationship; they both see their dull, lifeless marriage slowly suffocating them. What neither of them realizes is that they share a dark secret - they are both world-class assassins, having met while simultaneously on the run in Columbia. Jane is the cold, calculating type, always one step ahead of the target. John plays his assignments by ear, infinitely adaptable. When the unwitting couple are assigned the same target by their respective companies, they realize the truth behind their deceptions. If they are going to survive this assignment, they'll have to deal with the enemy and their new-found feelings about each other. The chemistry between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie is undeniable, and the pair use it to great effect in this is blockbuster of a good time.
