Mr. Beans Holiday is a 2007 family comedy by director Steve Bendelack, starring Rowan Atkinson as the movies comedic protagonist, Mr. Bean. This time Mr. Bean embarks on a vacation to France, which he won, along with a camcorder, in a raffle. When he arrives in Paris, however, he finds that his complete inability to speak or understand any French is quite a barrier to things going smoothly. And since this is Mr. Bean, after all, that cannot be the only thing that goes wrong. When he tries to get a judge of the Cannes Film Festival to film him boarding his train, he ends up making the judge miss his train! Considering that the directors son is on the train, this is quite a problem, Facing an alleged kidnapping, stolen belongings, some troubles with a commercial shoot, and plenty of other farcical disasters is all in a days workor vacationfor Mr. Bean. Mr. Beans Holiday was nominated for a 2007 National Movie Award and a 2008 Young Artist Award.moreless
