Mr. Jones is a romantic film released in 1993 starring Richard Gere and Lena Olin. The movie follows the turbulent relationship between a man named Mr. Jones (Richard Gere) and a woman named Libbie (Lena Olin). Mr. Jones is a handsome yet unpredictable man. Some days he is full of life, joins symphonies and interacts with random people on the street. And then there are times he wishes he was dead. After much emotional suffering, Jones decides to visit a psychiatrist for help. The psychiatrist tells him he suffers from a disease called bipolar disorder. He is then placed in the care of a beautiful psychiatrist named Libbie (Lena Olin) at a local psych ward. Libbie is attracted to Jones and is intrigued by his disorder. Jones and Libbie create a bond much stronger than doctor-patient. But curing Jones proves to be more difficult than imaginable.
