Muppets From Space is a 1999 comedy sending up such movies as "Men in Black," "ET: The Extraterrestrial" and the TV show "Star Trek." While Gonzo (voice of Dave Goelz) is eating breakfast one morning, he receives a message in his alphabet cereal to watch the sky. For as long as he can remember, Gonzo has been alone in the world, with no father and mother, and even has dreams in which he is turned away from Noah's Ark because he is one of a kind. It turns out he is actually an alien stranded on Earth after a UFO crash-landing in Roswell, New Mexico. His efforts to link up with his alien relatives catches the attention of government officials who kidnap him. The rest of the Muppet gang band together to rescue their pal and help Gonzo meet up with his long lost relatives in Roswell. Muppets From Space is directed by Tim Hill from a script by Jerry Juhl, Joseph Mazzarino and Ken Kaufman.moreless
