My Best Friend's Wife is a comedy that follows the lives of two longtime friends, Steve Richards (John Stamos) and Eric Myer (Daniel London), who lead average lives in the town of Freehold, New Jersey. They devise a plan to trade spouses for an evening and hatch a plot to gain the consent of their wives, Claire Richards (Tara Westwood) and Amy Myer (Meredith Salenger). Hilarity ensues as the two couples embark on this debacle of lust in an attempt to add variety and excitement to their otherwise dull and predictable lives. This film probes the standard of monogamy that exists in today's society and seeks to address it with an exhilarating and clever analysis. The two soon find that although the grass may always seem greener on the other side, they are both blessed with enriched and fulfilling lives. This independent film was written and directed by Doug Finelli.
