Baby photographer Ronnie Jackson (Bob Hope) has always wanted to be a private detective like his office neighbor Sam McCloud (Alan Ladd). When McLoud leaves town on a case he leaves Ronnie to mind the office, then in comes the beautiful Carlotta Montey (Dorothy Lamour). Thinking Ronnie is a real private eye she hires him to find her missing husband. - Or is he her uncle? A classic Bob Hope comedy made at the height of his career, well written and with a fine supporting cast. NTSC - 86 minutes - Black & White - 1947 (digitally remastered version).
