      • Leelee Sobieski had a number of body piercings done especially for her role in this movie. Prior to the start of production, she had both nostrils, both eyebrows, her lower lip and navel pierced especially. She also had the cartilage in both ears pierced multiple times. One piercing she did not already have, and did not have done for the movie, was her earlobes. Like Leelee, the character of Jennifer did not have pierced earlobes, to which a reference is made in the script. Following the end of production, Leelee removed all of the piercings, but kept the jewelry as a souvenir of the movie.
