My Life So Far is a family drama that takes place in post World War I Britain. Gamma Macintosh (Rosemary Harris) is the matriarch of a family that lives in a estate in the Scottish Highlands. She lives with her daughter, Moira Pettigrew (Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio) and her daughter's husband, Edward Pettigrew (Colin Firth), who is an experimental inventor of automobiles and airplanes. Additionally, Moira and Edward's two children, Fraser Pettigrew (Robby Norman) and Elpeth Pettigrew (Kelly MacDonald) live in the estate. Moira's brother Morris (Malcolm McDowell) visits the family with his French fianc''e. Her beauty and charm seduces Edward and attracts young Fraser. Much drama is stirred up over the young woman's arrival. The events that unfold pit the members of the family against each other. What will happen between Moira and Edward? Will Moira's brother, Morris, have to leave the estate for the family to be happy again?
