PG-13
My Super Ex-Girlfriend is a 2006 American romantic comedy superhero movie by director Ivan Reitman, starring Uma Thurman, Luke Wilson, and Anna Faris. Breaking up is hard for anyone, but imagine breaking up with a superhero. A grudge-holding, shark-throwing, life-destroying superhero with serious trouble dealing with rejection and some pretty bad mood swings on top of that. Welcome to the life of Matt Saunders (Luke Wilson). When he first met Jenny Johnson (Uma Thurman), he thought she was perfect. Beautiful, funny, and very interested - what more can a man want? Even when Jenny reveals that she is the superhero G Girl, Matt still feels pretty lucky. After all, G Girl's superpowers extend into the bedroom. But when Matt starts becoming friendlier and friendlier with former crush Hannah Lewis (Anna Faris), Jenny's jealousy spirals out of control and she becomes very aggressive and possessive. Eventually Matt is left with no choice but to end the relationship. Unfortunately, the one thing that G Girl is not so good at is letting go. My Super Ex-Girlfriend was nominated for a 2007 MTV Movie Award.moreless
