My Teacher's Wife stars Jason London and Tia Carrere in a teen comedy about a struggling high school senior at risk of not getting into the college of his dreams, and the life-changing tutor who teaches him a lot more than mathematics. London plays Todd Boomer, a smart and headstrong student with dreams of attending Harvard. Todd's best laid plans get derailed by a vindictive math teacher (Roy Mueller, played by Christopher McDonald) who threatens to fail Todd if he doesn't shape up. Todd's luck turns when he happens upon a brilliant and beautiful math tutor who offers her services to him. There's only one problem—the tutor he's quickly falling in love with is Mr. Mueller's wife. The gorgeous Tia Carrere plays Vicky Mueller, who finds herself falling for Todd, despite her best intentions. Meanwhile, Kirsten Beck and Paul Faber play Todd's best friends, Alexondra and Zak, who have their own relationship issues to iron out. My Teacher's Wife is a funny and well-acted film about the many problems of romantic relationships and the importance of strong friendships.moreless
