My Tutor is a strange love story that has many different twists and turns that focuses on the character of Bobby (Matt Lattanzi). Bobby is a high schooler who is having a lot of trouble with French. In order to help him out, his father (Kevin McCarthy) hires a beautiful thirty-year-old tutor, Terry (Caren Kaye), to help raise his grades. The father specifically chose the tutor because of her good looks, and because he was interested in dating her. The twists ensue though when the tutor doesn't have eyes for the father, but for the teenage son. The son is more sensitive, while the father is very blunt with his feelings and Terry likes the sensitivity that the young boy has. She must decide whether or not to act on her feelings and date Bobby, to date the father, or to walk away completely from both men and live her own life.
