Nailed follows a young man who must go against the wishes of his tight-knit family in order to do the right thing. Jeff Romano (Brad Rowe) is an aspiring screenwriter living in California. He left his Jewish-Italian family in New York, including family patriarch Tony Romano (Harvey Keitel), an Italian-American success story in the clothing industry. He has a brief relationship with Kelly Sherman (Rahcel Blanchard) and she soon finds out she is pregnant with Jeff's child. Tony is furious with his son. Jeff continues to try to be there for Kelly while dealing with his family's anger. Jeff's sister Fern (Mary Kay Place) tries to keep her family from falling apart and help her brother and father reconcile while Jeff and Kelly struggle with the painful realities of having a child with someone you barely know.
