Nanha Farishta is an Indian film written by Inder Raj Anand and directed by T. Prakash. It was produced in India in 1969. It is a musical Bollywood style film with dancing and is spoken in Hindi. The movie is about a little girl named Gita (Baby Rani) who gets stolen by 3 burglars Govind (Pran Sikand), Joseph (Hamid Ali Kahn), and Nazir (Anwar Hussain), who killed her parents during a robbery. The bandits end up really liking Gita and they do what ever it takes to keep her happy and well. They even end up kidnapping her nanny, Gauri (Padmini), when Gita gets sick. Gurari tells the robbers that the child needs to see her doctor to make her well. This becomes a serious problem for the criminals as it risks their freedom. They must decide what to do, risk getting caught or neglect the child. This is a sad but humorous story that shows that not all criminals are cold-hearted horrible people.moreless
