National Lampoon Presents: Endless Bummer is a 2008 comedy about a group of friends who embark on a 24-hour journey to help find their friend's stolen surfboard. The day begins when local popular kid J.D. (Khan Chittenden) sets out to enjoy his usual day of relaxed fun along the beaches of his hometown of Ventura, California. While trying to catch a big wave, J.D. wipes out and comes up looking around for his now missing surfboard. After scratching his head, the mystified surfer goes up and down the shoreline with no luck and eventually learns that a thief hailing from the much-despised San Fernando Valley has snagged it. Intent on getting back his prized surfboard, J.D. enlists the help of his stoner friend Lardo (Ray Santiago) and veteran surfer Mike Mooney (Matthew Lillard) to join him as the men travel to the Valley to get back what is rightly theirs. Along the way, there are beer, bongs, laughs and even the presence of a homeless savior named Dell (Joan Jett) to make the journey a memorable one.
