National Lampoon's Gold Diggers is a 2004 American comedy in the National Lampoon's film series, directed by Gary Preisler and starring Will Friedle, Chris Owen, Louise Lasser, and Renee Taylor. Friedle and Owen are Calvin Menhoffer and Leonard Smallwood, two slacking losers with few prospects in life. That is, until they come up with their best get-rich-quick scheme ever. Heard of cougars? Calvin and Leonard sure have! And when they meet Doris Mundt (Louise Lasser) and Betty Mundt (Renee Taylor), two lonely'and wealthy'old women, they know what they have to do: woo, pursue, and marry. After all, the old ladies won't live too much longer and then their spouses'the sleazy Calvin and Leonard'will inherit all. Can you say 'cha-ching?' But 'love' and marriage aren't simple matters, as Calvin and Leonard soon find out. In National Lampoon's Gold Diggers, they're taken on the ride of their lives!
