National Lampoon's Stoned Age, also known by the alternate title Homo Erectus, is a 2007 comedy written and direct Adam Rifkin. The film follows Ishbo (Adam Rifkin) as he navigates the Stone Age social scene to find a mate and survive the local bullies. Somewhat nerdy, Ishbo lacks the physical prowess of his caveman colleagues, notably the athletic mamoth-killing Thudnick (Hayes MacArthur). Nevertheless, he still clings to the hope of making tribal hottie Fardart (Ali Larter) his wife. When Thudnick proposes to Fardart by clubbing her on the head, Ishbo is devastated. Soon after, however, Fardart is captured in a raid by a neighboring tribe. Seizing the opportunity, Ishbo embarks on a quest to get her back, despite Thudnick's opposition. On his travels, Ishbo encounters a band of Amazon women who offer Ishbo their affections. True to his heart, Ishbo is unable to accept their offerings, thereby offending them, and sets in motion a series of events that lead him to his destiny.moreless
