'Neath the Arizona Skies is a 1934 Western movie based on B.R. Tuttle's short story "Gun Glory". Chris Morrell (John Wayne) is the guardian of a half-indian girl named Nina (Shirley Jean Rickert). He ends up with the job of finding the girl's white father so she can cash in her late mother's oil lease and earn fifty thousand dollars. However, the job is far from easy. An outlaw, Sam Black (Yakima Canutt), is after the girl and her father in hopes of getting the money. Running away from the outlaw only puts them in the way of robber Jim Moore and his sister Clara Moore (Sheila Terry) and leads to a mix-up where Chris is accused of robbery. However, Chris is determined to get his young charge safely to her destination or die trying. Will he be able to carry out his mission or will the Wild West prove to be too much for Chris Morrell?
