Never a Dull Moment is a 1968 Disney family comedy and crime drama starring Dick Van Dyke. Jack Albany (Van Dyke) is a struggling actor who is mistaken for killer Ace Williams (Jack Elam) while practicing for a role. Jack finds himself in the midst of gangsters, where he must take on a job from gangster boss, Leo Smooth (Edward G. Robinson). As Ace, Jack is recruited by Leo to play a terrible role in stealing a priceless Van Gogh painting. Will he assist with the art heist to please the hoods or will he find a way to drop the act? When Jack meets an art teacher, Sally Inwood (Dorothy Provine), he is tempted to take her into his confidence as well as his arms. With her help, it seems that Jack may be able to steal away from the gangsters and back to the stage. Then the real killer Ace shows up.
