Next Day Air is a 2009 comedy starring Donald Faison (Scrubs), Mike Epps (Next Friday), Wood Harris (The Wire), and Mos Def (The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy) in a story about an inept delivery man who, after taking a package to the wrong apartment, gets caught up in a drug deal that might be his last delivery ever. Faison plays Leo, a well-meaning employee of Next Day Air, a privately-owned postal service. Leo has made a lot of mistakes while on the job, to the point that he's sure to get fired if he messes anything else up. Unfortunately for Leo, that's exactly what he does when he delivers a package to the wrong apartment number. This innocent mistake winds up becoming a massive problem. The package contained clay pots filled with cocaine, and when it's not delivered to the correct apartment, the dangerous, high-profile criminals who run the drug smuggling business start looking for the deliveryman who cost them so much money. Next Day Air is a fun action-comedy film, from writer Blair Cobbs and director Benny Boom.moreless
