Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian is a 2009 adventure film and a sequel to the 2006 film Night at the Museum. Larry Daley (Ben Stiller) is now a successful and wealthy CEO, but has not been able to visit a museum in some time and has neglected his magic museum friends. Larry soon learns that Dexter the Capuchin Monkey has stolen the Akhmenrah's tablet, which brings the exhibits to life, and brought it to the Federal Archives at the Smithsonian. Pharaoh Kahmunrah (Hank Azaria) has been ruling the museum and attacking all of Larry's exhibit friends. Larry investigates and is attacked by Kahmunrah's army, but is saved by General George Armstrong Custer (Bill Hader). Larry then meets Amelia Earhart (Amy Adams) and the two begin to fall for each other. They learn that Kahmunrah is attempting to raise an army from the underworld to take over the world and realize they must form a team of exhibits to take him down at any cost.moreless
