Night Junkies, a 2007 horror film directed by Lawrence Pearce, follows vampire Vincent Monroe (Giles Alderson) as he deals with his deadly addiction to human blood. The debut feature from Pearce gives a new take on the mythology of the vampire, depicting the need for blood as more of a junkie looking for the next hit. To satisfy his cravings, Vincent must drain his victims and he leaves a trail of dead across the city. Ruby Stone (Katia Winter) is dealing with her own problems. Someone has been killing the prostitutes at the strip club where she works and her boss Max (Jonathan Coyne) thinks Ruby could help his business by turning tricks instead of just dancing. She's not interested in the promotion and leaves the club only to find she's being followed. She ducks into a cafe and meets Vincent. The two soon begin falling for each other, but Ruby doesn't know everything she needs to know about Vincent.moreless
