Night Moves, a 1975 private-eye movie directed by Arthur Penn, concerns Harry Moseby, a former football player turned sleuth living in Los Angeles. Harry is not happy with his life; his wife Ellen is having an affair and he has come to feel his job is beneath him. He takes a seemingly easy case from one-time starlet Arlene Iverson, whose wild-child teenage daughter Dellie has gone missing. The search takes Harry to the Florida Keys, where Harry begins to wonder if something deeper is going on, particularly after Dellie is killed. He can solve the mystery, but can he solve the problems in his own life?
