Night of the Wolf is a 2002 religious drama directed by David S. Cass Sr. It was made as a television film. The film follows the widowed single mother Claire McNichol (played by Anne Archer). Claire is a cattle rancher who lives with her teenage son, Jesse (played by Zachary Bostrom) and their longtime friend and ranch foreman Puly Owens. One day a life threatening accident (she gets thrown from a horse and brakes her ankle) leaves Claire stranded deep in the wilderness. Her only company out there is a wild but trapped wolf and she must struggle to survive. Stuck with the wolf for five days she starts to respect the animal and feel that she understands and can relate to it. Meanwhile Jesse sets out into the mountains by himself to rescue his mother but first must get past a group of evil and homicidal poachers who have killed a game warden are trying to make him their next victim.moreless
