Night Terror is a thriller that shows viewers why it's important to have a full tank of gas when driving alone at night. The film stars Valerie Harper as Carol, a mother living in Denver, Colorado. Carol's husband Walter (Michael Tolan) gets a new job in California. She packs the family's belongings and takes her kids to the airport to catch an earlier flight. That night, Carol gets a phone call from her mother (Beatrice Manley) telling her that her son buddy (Damon Bradley Raskin) is in the hospital. Unable to reach her husband and to find a flight out-of-town, she decides to make the 16-hour drive to Los Angeles. Unfortunately, he forgot to fill the tank and runs out off gas in front of a closed gas station along the way. Carol notices a police officer (Bob Harris) on the side of the road, who pulled over a strange driver (Richard Romanus). As she approaches him for help, the driver shoots and kills the officer. Desperate, Carol breaks into the station and manages to find a key to the gas pump. She speeds away, thinking that the killer did not notice her. While looking in her rear-view mirror, she soon sees a car following her.moreless
