A traditional English comedy murder mystery. The tale is set deep in the heart of the English countryside during 1926. There is cheerful activity at Mildew Hall, the residence of wealthy businessman William Tucksup and his wife, Ethel, as it is their daughter Patricia's wedding day. The cheer soon turns to chaos and mayhem when Patricia fails to turn up. With everyone hiding dark secrets, situations and people are not necessarily all they appear to be. It is apparent that, for someone, commiting murder can be the only solution.
