Nick Beam is an advertising executive whose career is spiraling downward. To make matters worse, he also fears that his wife, Ann, is having an affair. Dazed and feeling like he is teetering on a nervous breakdown, Nick wanders into a close by ghetto. Soon after arriving in the ghetto, he is approached by Terrence Paul "Paul T." Davidson. Paul T. attempts to carjack Nick. Unfortunately for the thief, Nick feels like he has nothing left to lose and turns the table on the carjacker. Nick takes Paul T. hostage and after some hostile moments the two began to bond with each other. The unlikely friendship quickly leads to a series of robberies, high-speed chases and revenge on ones who have wronged them.
