Oblivion is a 1994 adventure science fiction film directed by Sam Irvin and based on the story written by Charles Band, which revolves around a young man who must overcome his pacifistic convictions to revenge the death of his father and restore the order in a town terrorized by merciless inhumane outlaws. Redeye (Andrew Divoff) is the ruthless leader of a gang of murderers who seize control of a small town and the rich local mines. They overpower the town's sheriff, Marshall Stone (Michael Genovese), and kill him in an intense shootout. Stell Barr (Meg Foster), Marshal's deputy, is on the run, while chaos and terror set in the peaceful town. Zack Stone (Richard Joseph Paul), a dedicated promoter of non-violence, arrives at his father's funeral and meets the town's desperately scared inhabitants.
