Oil on Water is about a young couple very much in love. Anna (Bianca Lishansky) and Max (St. John Alexander) are both very creative as Anna is a journalist and Max is a slightly eccentric artist. One day, Max starts exhibiting odd behavior, symptoms of a mysterious disease. It turns out that Max has schizophrenia. He hears voices and sees strange visions forcing him from his life including his artwork and his relationship with Anna. Anna confronts Max about the problem in an effort to salvage the relationship. Anna does not want to see her husband suffer and it causes her a great deal of emotional pain. She resorts to writing in her journal for several months after her husband's diagnosis of schizophrenia. Can Anna and Max keep it together or will more drama wreak havoc? Matthews Pete directs this chilling psychological thriller also starring Liam Magner and Greg Bright.
