On a Clear Day You Can See Forever is a 1970 musical romantic comedy featuring the lush singing of Barbra Streisand. Warren Pratt (Larry Blyden) wants his free-spirited fianc'', Daisy Gamble (Barbra Streisand), to quit smoking before the wedding. As Daisy has intuitive streak and a magical ability with flowers, she decides to seek help from a hypnotist. Dr. Marc Chabot (Yves Montand) helps her uncover a past life as an English heiress named Melinda, who he believes he had a love affair with in his past life in the 1840s. Daisy soon falls for the suave doctor, while Chabot finds himself longing for her flirtatious alter ego. He tries to share his remarkable findings with his dubious colleagues, Dr. Mason Hume (Bob Newhart) and Dr. Conrad Fuller (Simon Oakland), who begin to question his sanity.
