On Broadway is a 2010 drama written and directed by Dave McLaughlin. When Jack O'Toole (Joseph McIntyre) loses his beloved uncle, it inspires him to write a play about his uncle's life. Jack's father, Martin (Sean Lawlor), disagrees with Jack's choice to write the play, especially when Jack decides to quit his reliable day job to devote all of his time to write it. Six months later, Jack finishes his play and wants to produce it. His wife, Kate (Jill Flint), thinks the money it would cost to produce the play would be better spent fixing up their house and paying bills. Jack pulls together some resources and Kate finally relents to allowing him to put on his play. Jack gets a cast together and debuts his play in the backroom of a local pub. In the process of writing and producing his play, Jack learns a lot about life and love and making dreams come true.
