On the Edge was released in 1994 and written by Solange Martin. A 40-year-old woman and mother of two children, Clara (Clementine Celarie) decides she is going to surprise her husband by visiting him at the airport. When she arrives, she is unable to find him and he never shows up. She calls the hotel where he is staying, only to find out he is spending time with another woman. This hurts her deeply and she decides to find a companion of her own. She turns to a younger man, Robert (Bruno Todeschini) who has been hanging around the terminal at the airport. The pair have drinks together and begin to connect. Both of them quickly realize that they have nothing in common but use it to their advantage and let themselves act freely. They allow themselves to act like kids, they sing together, cry together, and of course laugh. They do just about whatever they feel like, whenever they feel like it. Eventually they begin to find their true selves again and what they truly want out of life.moreless
