Once More with Feeling is a romantic comedy directed by Jeff Lipsky that premiered at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival. Frank Gregorio (Chazz Palminteri), a middle-aged family man, seems like he has a perfect life. He is a wealthy, successful psychiatrist, who loves his wife, his children, and his grandchildren. He really wants to be a lounge singer though, and he begins to pursue a passion for karaoke with encouragement from a new friend, Lydia (Linda Fiorentino). Frank doesn't realize that the pretty Lydia has an ulterior motive for encouraging him to sing. At the same time that Frank is going through his midlife crisis, Frank's oldest daughter, Lana (Drea de Matteo), is suffering through a crisis as well. As a stay-at-home mom of two kids, she is insecure with her body and starts looking for reassurance in all the wrong places. In this lighthearted film, members of this close-knit Italian family band together to help Frank and Lana through their problems in their own comical, yet sincere, way.moreless
