One Eyed King is a crime drama written, produced and directed by Robert Moresco, which shows audiences how growing up in a slum can change friendships. The film opens in the New York neighborhoods of Hell's Kitchen, where five teenagers promise to always be friends after committing a successfully petty theft. The film then jumps forward ten years. Frankie (William Baldwin) is a lucrative thief and close friends with mob boss Holly (Armand Assante). Dennis (Jason Gedrick) and Bug (Dash Mihok) work outside the mafia, doing small-time jobs that always seem to fail. Eddie (Chazz Palminteri) got out of the underworld and became a N.Y. police detective. The five adults still respect each other, but they are far from being close friends. Dennis and Bug mess up a counterfeiting operation, embarrassing Holly and putting them in the hole with the mob boss for over $250,000. Holly then gives Dennis two options. He can either kill his best friend, who Holly holds responsible for the current mess, or they can both die together. Dennis chooses the first and kills Bug, dumping his body in the street. Frankie finds his dead friend and vows to get revenge. With Eddie's help, the two set off to find the people responsible, who just so happen to be their good friends.moreless
